For Aging November 2025

Read our November newsletter here.

November is National Family Caregivers Month, a time to recognize the more than 130 million Americans who provide care for children, older adults, people with disabilities, and loved ones with complex health needs. Behind every statistic is someone balancing work, family, health, transportation, and the daily realities of care that hold our communities together.

As caregiving demands grow and demographic shifts accelerate, this month reminds us that supporting caregivers is essential to strengthening economic well-being, advancing equity, and ensuring people can live and age in community. Next50 supports the work of national organizations such as Caring Across Generations and Care Out Loud that contribute to narrative and systems change regarding our care infrastructure. We also support community-based organizations like Caregiver Connections,  Arizona Health Care Association, and DayBreak Adult Care that provide direct services, including respite and training. By strengthening care at every level, we are working toward a more equitable and affordable care system for all.

Next50 is looking ahead to next year to further support systems-level change work and continue to support resilience in the non-profit ecosystem. Stay tuned for our latest round of grant announcements coming next month, and we encourage you to connect with our impact managers to share about your current and upcoming work that makes aging more affordable.

November’s newsletter highlights National Family Caregivers Month by celebrating and acknowledging the vital work of nonprofit partners who support caregivers and those they care for. We also ask organizations to complete a brief survey on their organizational capacity needs as Next50 looks ahead at how to best support our nonprofit ecosystem.
