Last week, we celebrated our 10th anniversary at the Denver Art Museum. It capped off an extraordinary week of hosting Grantmakers in Aging’s national conference here in our hometown. Standing in a room full of grantees, partners, and fellow funders, I was reminded that everything Next50 has accomplished, we have accomplished together.
This year allowed us to reflect on our first decade and plan for what is ahead. I’m excited to share that in 2027, Next50 will launch a new strategic plan built on four investment goals: expanding economic opportunity, championing social inclusion, shaping the built environment, and advancing health. Equity remains at the center of it all. We will continue to direct our grantmaking to low- and moderate-income older adults, including those in historically marginalized and geographically underserved communities.
I invite you to explore our new strategic plan and priorities on our website linked here. Our staff will be connecting with organizations that are interested in learning more about how we can work together to create a world that values aging.

This month we revealed our 2027-2031 Strategic Plan built on four investment goals: expanding economic opportunity, championing social inclusion, shaping the built environment, and advancing health. We’re excited about what we have developed and the path it sets for Next50. We hope you will explore our new plan that requires both responsiveness and ambition. Next50 was also thrilled to share our 10th anniversary impact video linked in the newsletter.
